GTB Technologies ^® has achieved attestation as System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 compliant in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The process renews all SOC 2 classifications previously obtained at the beginning of 2025 as a Type 1, covering the Security criteria.

The renewed SOC 2 Type 2 attestation audit applies to all GTB’s platform covers all aspects of enterprise Data Security, including:  Network Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for Data in Motion, Endpoint Protection for Data in Use; Stops data exfiltration, Data Discovery with Data Classification for Data at Rest,  GTB Data Classifier™ for automatic and user-based data classification, Content-Aware Digital Rights Management (DRM), Stealthfence™ for Shadow IT, GTB Lifeguard AI™, Crypt-N-Chive™, the smart encryption and data archive solution.

This certification demonstrates GTB’s continued commitment to compliance and reassures customers that the required safeguards are in place to protect their data.

The SOC 2 auditing process tests an organization’s systems and internal processes, including data handling, information security, transparency, and data destruction. Completing a SOC 2 Type 2 audit takes roughly four to six months and involves a thorough review of both the procedures and systems in place within an organization, as well as the effectiveness of those systems and procedures over a specified period – in this case, 6 months.

As part of this year’s certification, GTB also received a SOC 3 report, which is a summarized report of the audit’s findings. To demonstrate our commitment to data security and trustworthiness, GTB makes its SOC 3 report available for all clients and potential clients.
